ABHAY JOSHI

Abhay has worked at a senior level in accounting practices in Christchurch for ten years. This includes 3 years at Staples Rodway Chartered Accountants where he enjoyed helping many companies in reducing costs and improving profits where possible.

Originally from Puna in India, Abhay traveled globally before migrating to New Zealand in 2003. While traveling Abhay has held the roles of Group Finance Controller in Zambia for 5 years for a group of 30 companies

Director for five different corporations.Vice President of a California Corporation in Los Angeles. Abhay enjoys working as an expert with his varied clients over the years and has had extensive experience in many different industries including:

Abhay is a qualified CPA and member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is a CA member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as being a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He completed Business Law and NZ Taxation papers from University of Canterbury and Massey University in order to comply with requirements of New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Outside of work Abhay loves playing Table Tennis and won South Island Masters in 2003 and team gold in 2013 NZ veterans representing Canterbury in the over 50 (old man) category.  He is a Black Caps supporter and loves watching cricket and rugby with his family.
